Who is SWM?

A Florida native, Justin Spinello was introduced to the world of finance early in life through a close relationship with his father, the CEO of a financial planning firm in South Florida. From an early age, Justin was mentored on the importance of personal integrity and the power of ethically grounded, trust-based relationships - principles that would shape his career long before they became industry norms.

After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Justin felt a deep calling to serve his country. Following more than a year of elite training, he was commissioned as a U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer. He served in South Korea and San Antonio as Executive Officer for two Army Analytical Center Elements, where he led troops and authorized classified reports for Army and Joint Operations high commands, NATO, and Congress. Captain Spinello gave over a decade of leadership and national defense.

Justin later earned a Master’s degree in Global Security Studies and Leadership from the University of Texas, further sharpening his strategic and analytical capabilities. After graduate school, he transitioned into financial services, launching his advisory career with Merrill Lynch in Clearwater, Florida, where he specialized in group retirement plans and investments.

In 2018, he joined Wells Fargo Advisors, focusing on comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families, and small to mid-sized businesses - including asset management, investment planning, retirement income, and estate strategies. He also served as the discretionary portfolio manager for a team overseeing more than $500 million in assets.

In 2022, Justin founded Spinello Wealth Management to deliver a clear and disciplined planning approach tailored to the uniqueness of each client relationship. He collaborates with a network of professionals including tax advisors, legal experts, Medicare specialists, and protection planners to deliver a full-spectrum financial experience.

Service remains central to his life. He continues giving back through his local Kiwanis chapter, where he has served as President, Vice President, and is a Board Director. Justin’s greatest joy, however, is his family life with his wife, Savannah, and their son, Dean. Together, they enjoy traveling, golf, archery, and staying active as a family.

Justin earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation & has his FINRA Series 7 & 66 securities registrations as well as his 'Life, Accident, Health, & Variable Annuity' insurance licenses.
